Please Be Considerate
Cars using the lane leading to the entrance to The Solly have become a major concern.
We ask that parents do not drive cars into the lane even when just dropping your child off for training.
Parking in the lane is simply not acceptable.
Cars cause nuisance for our neighbours and present a health and safety risk. Access by emergency vehicles is also restricted.
Please use The Glen car park, next door.
When using the Glen cars should be parked such that pathways are kept clear at all times to enable emergency access.
Parents ignoring our request could jeopardise their child's continuing involvement with the club.
Thank you in anticipation of your co-operation regarding this matter.

About Us
Glenavon Junior Football Club was formed in 1992. We take our name from the road of the same name in Prenton where our founding members lived.
We are affiliated to the Wallasey Junior Football League and the Cheshire County FA. Glenavon JFC was amongst the first clubs in the country to achieve FA Charter Standard status in 2001.
We have approximately 200 children signed to the club ranging from 6 up to 17. Our U11 through to U16 sides play in the Wallasey Junior League (WJL) competitions and represent the club in Wirral and Cheshire cup competitions. Our U7 to U10 sides play their regular football in the WJL Mini Soccer competitions.
Our senior teams (U11-U16) play their home games at The Glen on Woodchurch Road and at Ridgeway High School. Alongside the Glen is Solly Rec. where our Junior teams (U6-U10) play and train.
All of our team mangers and their assistants have achieved the FA’s Junior Team Managers Certificate as a minimum requirement. This includes Emergency First Aid training, Child Welfare workshops and coaching tuition.
